In this time when we are inundated with information, how do you connect readers with the advertisers who are supporting our site? Make it personal. Tell a story. Tell their story.
In leiu of traditional advertising, I suggested running profiles and highlighting the contributions that some of our advertisers make in our community and beyond. I called the ongoing pieces "Tips Presents Inspiring People." The response was extremely positive.
